"The Whalebone House", situated in The Sea Ranch meadow overlooking the Pacific, is a 1800 + sq. ft. three bedroom, two bath home. There are strict height limitations at The Sea Ranch, in order to not obstruct the view of neighbors. I used a flat roof to maximize height and views from the upper floor. This has become a solution for many designs here at The Sea Ranch, and I believe it has become part of the architectural vocabulary.
